Frequently asked questions
Answers to help you get started.
How do I turn text into speech?
Create an account, choose a plan, then open the studio. Write or import your script and choose a provider, language and voice. Review the credit estimate before confirming. Once processing finishes, play and download the recording.
Do all voices support the same styles?
No. Aswati shows the styles and languages supported by your selected voice. Settings vary by provider, and your chosen voice is not silently replaced with another one.
How are credits calculated?
Cost is based on text length and the provider credit multiplier, and is displayed before generation. Credits are reserved when a request is sent and returned on confirmed failure. Playing or downloading an existing recording does not consume new generation credits.
Can I clone any voice?
You must own the voice or have explicit permission from its owner. An audio sample and consent are required, and the clone remains private to your account. The provider may require additional verification before use.
Which files can I import?
You can import text from TXT and DOCX files within the studio limit. Review paragraphs, language, names, numbers and punctuation after importing.
Can I change my plan or cancel renewal?
You can review your subscription and billing period in your account and stop automatic renewal. Available plans and payment methods appear before confirmation. A subscription is activated only after payment is confirmed.
Where are my projects stored?
Scripts and settings are stored in the platform database, and recordings in its private storage. Files require authorized access. Download recordings you want to keep before your plan’s retention period ends.
Why are some payment methods missing?
Availability depends on country, currency, order type, device and Stripe support. Only eligible methods are shown for your order. Your bank may require additional authentication or approval in a wallet app.
